Combat Corner athlete Montel Jackson (8-1) has been lighting up the canvas ever since he debuted in the octagon during the second season of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Montel Jackson went into his debut fight confident that in the end he would have his hand raised. That confidence became a reality after he finished Rico DiSciullo (9-2) with a 3rd round TKO.

Jackson was rewarded for his performance with a UFC contract, and has since ripped off a 3-1 record in his first four fights. He’s climbed the ranks of the bantamweight division with victories over guys like: Brian Kelleher (19-10) via 1st round submission and Andre Soukhamthath (13-8) via decision.

A new opponent only means for a new fight camp and Jackson got straight to work with coaches Jake Klipp and Zak Ottow out of Pura Vida BJJ in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“I’m going to show everybody that I’m more than just a prospect, that I’m the next big thing.”

said Jackson as he prepares for war at UFC Fight Night 166 against Felipe Colares (9-1) under the UFC lights January 25th.

This is definitely going to be a fast paced and exciting fight once both fighters touch gloves in the center of the octagon and you won’t want to miss it. Once the cage door closes, It’s go time!
